That would be about the only thing I can think of.

You could always make you own of sorts, using a water proof case and para-cord or a lanyard.

Do a search on Amazon for "Apple 6s cellphone holder". There are a couple that ware waterproof and use a landyard of some sort.

I would think a fannypack would serve better and also more secure.

Unless you are going to be submerged under more than a few inches of water for more than half an hour, I don’t think you need to worry about the waterproof part: iPhone 6s Surprisingly Water Resistant, but Not Waterproof - MacRumors

The linked article says that while the iPhone 6 and 6S were not marketed as being water resistant, they were.

More modern iPhones are even more water resistant, as are various newer android models.

Thanks for the input and ideas. I fish a lot using waders, and i have gotten good and wet on more than one occasion. I want something around the neck so I can use it without dropping it in the water

Fly fisherman also. My wife bought me one recently at an Eddie Bauer outlet. It a!so floats. Haven't used it yet. Where i do a lot of trout fishing i don't get a signal anyway! Do carry a small water proof camera for the big ones picture.

I bought some waterproof holders for phones from Amazon. It was for a recent family vacation. I went with some Amazon offerings that cost about $12 each. Worked fine, and wasnt hard to find the right size.

I saw some vids on Youtube...

A guy dives in a river and finds all kinds of stuff. Often he is able to trace the owner. He found a waterproof case with a cell phone in it. The phone still worked, it wasn't locked so he was able to find the person and return it, along with the cash underneath the phone. He even threw in some more bucks for good measure. The owner was ecstatic because he was a contractor and had a lot of important photos, contacts and other info on his phone.

Also, people go 'mudding' in the Thames river at low tide. (It is REALLY nasty) But they have found some really interesting and historical artifacts.

FYI for Android users and perhaps iPhones also. Using the Android settings, you can create a text message that is visible on the "Lock Screen".
I have an "If found" phone number that can be used to return the phone, even though it's locked.

I had a case that I bought from West Marine, I dont think it was for phones but one would fit, it was orange and you could hang it around your neck, I used it for a fly box.
