We Need a Mall Ninja

Mall ninjas have disappeared because they no longer have malls to go to.

When was the last time you went to a mall?

Don't remember? Me either.

A fishing buddy of mine always kept a Glock 26 (compact 9mm) in a dry pocket on the shoulder of his home made fishing vest when wade fishing. He told me that he has that same pistol in a zip-loc baggie with him when he's in the shower.

He says that he is arms reach from a hand gun from any spot in his house and always has a tactical knife and two hand guns on him when he is any where but inside his house.

I don't know what it takes to qualify as a mall ninja but I think my friend might come pretty close.

With organized flash mobs en masse grand theft being a new national pastime, I have to wonder where Gecko 45 and his elite team of tactical professionals are now that we need them.

I take great comfort in the photos posted by s&wchad and Mule Packer.

Probably a good thing my computer keyboard does not have an on-board polygraph.

I have not been to a Mall in at least 15 years.......................... I think some are used for Senior Citizen exercise walks!

I think another of the Burgh's Mall just declared bankruptcy last month.

MAY be one or two left!

last time I was at a mall...the walkers were out numbered by the electic scooter races

Rusty, inquiring minds want to know. Who is it? I may have to go back and read some of his posts. It's been a slow day here at the ol' homestead and I'm needing a good chuckle.

It is not my place to point him out as he does a good job of doing that himself.

I won't divulge his ID.

I bet I could get it in one guess.

Moderators: If this is inappropriate, please remove, but....

the Mall Ninjas are NOT dead.

They are ALL over You Tube and Facebook these days. They make Gecko45 look like a top level pro!

I work in private security and I run into these guys all the time. I call them "they who seek lawsuits".

One YouTube site had a security company here in town getting out of their "patrol cars" which looked like local county constables armed with AR-15's and doing a demo that should an attorney get a hold of this company in court and play this for a jury BOOM! Instant judgement! (plus, one had an AD on camera with his Beretta in the parking lot during filming!)

FB has a site called "Exposing Security Posers and Anti-professionals"....It provided me and my collegues hours off laughter and smarky comments.

The industry needs higher standards and regulations.

Trolls everywhere have a picture of Gecko45 on their mantels. His mission was to trigger the hard-core gun crowd and he did it with surgical precision.

Professional pot stirrer and bear poker extraordinaire.

That was exactly his mission.
He'd lay bait as a question about what others might do about some issue.
As people asked for more information... He'd get just weird enough to suck in his victims.
After they took the bait ... Game on.
Truth is, he's actually quite knowledgeable about the subject. Face it. He has to be to spin up these antics.
He might still be out there. If you can find him, it's best to crack open a beer and just watch the show, knowing it is going to get ridiculous.

What struck me most were those that took him seriously and engaged with him.

There's a few ways to read that.
Was it their egos that wouldn't let them spit the bait .... or was it his skill dragging them that far down the rabbit hole.
Once you understood what he was, the entertainment value was enormous.

sometimes i miss the mall ninjas.

almost as much as i miss the zombie craze from 10-12 years ago.

I think i still have a box of the hornady z force ammo kicking around somewhere...

But Do you have the right pistol
