I don't know what to make of this document (but I don't like it).

Do you know anything about it?

It's almost like someone wrote that to hit all the things that would piss off all those darn gun owners.

I obviously cannot attest to the authenticity of this document, just as it cannot be dismissed as a phony. This is however, exactly what is being promulgated with the pending "Arms Treaty" now awaiting ratification by the US Senate. Clinton is an avid supporter of this legislation and the recent Executive Order regarding military weapons exported to friendly nations not being available to civilians anymore certainly does look like item #1 in that "phony" letter coming to life. The UN treaty will ultimately give the UN control over all weapons possessed by civilians of the countries that are signatories to the treaty. If this is ratified the rest of that "phony" letter will come to pass. If there ever was a time to contact your congressional representatives over a critical issue it is now.

And just who is going to Confiscate the weapons in private hands?

Is it the Military, the sons and daughters of law abiding citizens that we are always praising and praying to keep them safe in that hell hole of third world country's? Why would they take arms from their own people and deny themselves of ownership when they return to civilian life? The authorities can't even slow down the killing and carnage in the city of Chicago with 500 shootings a year. What will they do when trying to get the guns from law abiding citizens in the west and rural area's?

Is it the Law Enforcement Officers of the USA who do the best they can keeping the public safe and coming to their aid when in need?

I think not all will turn in their arms peacefully and their will be some lives lost with confiscation of arms from the general public.

I think the "Gun Grabbers" are going to think long and hard after the recall vote in Colorado this past week.

My neighbor has been worrying about gun confiscation for 20 years. I have to remind him about every couple of years it ain't happening. Before the last Presidential election he told me there was a plan for atf to start confiscation right after the election. As I recall, someone had forwarded him a link on the internet. Course, if it's on the internet it's true.:)

I don't care what is or is not proposed in the UN. The U.S. Senate has to ratify any treaty and there has to be some way it can be enforced. Neither of these are possible in the U.S.

Of course that doesn't mean there is zero chance of some type of gun control. But, it's a long road from controls like increased background search and limits on mag capacity to gun confiscation. For right now, as well as the intermediate future, I can't see any significant control getting through Congress.

We do have to remain vigilant of controls but there is zero chance of gun confiscation based on some UN ramblings. Heck, this country can't enforce weed or speed limits.

come and try to take my guns ;)
its a hoax but in cali there was a bill that passed that was 2.4 billion dollars for gun confiscation and many home howners were violated, new york is a state that is "next" on the list to worry but i dont think it will ever go nationwide. if so i would suggest they quit while they are ahead, some like theyir guns as much as their children and will defend them as such

Make my day ha 30 single oil field worker it may be a short fight but I plan to make it memorable lol!
