What is causing the wear on this side of this trigger? Is it a problem? How do you correct it? Thanks!

Your trigger is not centered in the frame. Go to Midway or Ebay and order yourself a few trigger shims. Remove the trigger and add .002-.004" to the bottom of the trigger stud, put some cold blue on the trigger where it is worn, and check for rubbing. Add as little as possible to prevent rubbing and make sure the trigger dowsn rub on the opposite side when you are done. I just did this to a 31-1. It was simple and effective. I had to add (2) .002" shims to mine.
