Weather where you live.

Was in the single digits last week, dropping to 4º on Thursday but Saturday it started to wake up and was 47º this morning. Spent a lot of time the last few days knocking the snow down in my and my neighbour's driveways with my tractor, latterly the melting sludge. My 160' unpaved driveway is a mess. Only got about 6" but it piles up.

32, with "wintery mix" and/or freezing rain for the rest of the day. Forecast is for warmer tomorrow.

In My corner, high today was 34⁰, currently 28⁰, with an expected low of 18⁰.
Somewhat better than the last several day. But still considerably better then much of the country.

Massachusetts dodged the bullet (pun intended) with this last storm, we got 2+ inches of rain before it turned cold. It hasn't been above freezing for 3 days, but it's predicted to be in the 50's for New Year weekend, crazy New England weather

We got the cold front, but by Christmas it was in the upper 50s. Today mid 60s, and the rest of the week looks pretty typical for this time of year - mid to upper 60s for highs, mid to upper 30s for lows. There are a couple of days this week forecast to break into the mid 70s. That's a bit warmer than normal for late December/Early January.

It was a cold and snowy weekend here in SW MI. Wind chills were -10 to -20 with highs around 10-15. We also got about 13-15" of blowing snow.

It was really beautiful tho!

Sometimes I can be a bit of a numbers nerd.

Last Thursday when it was -32° (F) outside I was using my wood stove to maintain a comfortable 68° (F) inside.

That's 100° difference, and my stove stoked with limber pine performed admirably.

The next afternoon the outside temp was 18° (F) so I was only asking my stove to add 50° to keep it cozy in the cabin.

Might make it to the 20's today, and hopefully warm enough to take my baby for a walk. Forecast says up into the high 20's/mid 30's this week

Last week one morning it was 7 deg. Tomorrow is supposed in the 50s for a few days and rain again on Sat. If we had snow instead of rain it would be over the top of the house. Larry

Tue. 27th;

Woke up to just RAIN. How sweet it is.

This storm shough get rid of all the snow on the ground that refused to leave our areas.

I think I will celebrate and put a pork loin on the Traeger this afternoon
and know that the snow shovel will get a rest for the next few days.

We get all 4 seasons... and often they are angry... but the beautiful days are spectacular...

Here's the result of 39° (F) when the horizontal storm began.

The snow is "glued" to everything on the downwind side.

Somebody like Bing Crosby should write a song.
