weird model 101 box????

I have a smith and Wesson revolver box that came with a unmatching gun. Its marked model 101 s/n is bhm2322 which is not in the scsw3 38sp. blue finish, square butt and 4in bbl. The "Julian" date puts it leaving the factory on sept 20, 1994. This thing is driving me nuts. What's it for???

Model 10-10 or something?

Sources say it was a Model 10-11.
It looks like they simply goofed up the model number on the label.

SKU 100125 - 4" HB B SB 1984 - 1995.

HB = Heavy Barrel
B = Blue Finish
SB = Square Butt
