I am told the clunk sound is normal, glad to hear all went well!

Now, I really need to get out and shoot mine, I may just break down and go to an indoor range, which I do not like doing, as I like shooting outside, but I am dying to shoot it!

a clunk sound after each firing? dang guys i dont own one of these guns yet but would that be the trigger resetting? if it is then these need some trigger work. ooops, there is a thread about this already sorry.

It's a typical AR trigger reset and will pretty much be that way in any AR that uses regular off the shelf trigger parts.

maybe the "clunk" he is talking about is something that i have just gotten used to from shooting AR's i never really hear a "clunk" i just hear a trigger reset. im guessing this would be the same as me hearing a splinter go through the waaco at our hardwood flooring plant and thinking nothing of it and somebody else thinking the machine is falling apart. :D

well thats good to hear, after awhile guesss i wont even notice it,trigger resetting

Pretty much! It's a clicking sound but couple that with the feel of the trigger resetting and I'm sure some would think it's clunky. It wears in nicely over time! :)

well im so happy with the performance of the 15-22,would of stayed out longer but ran out of ammo, now gotta wait till next sat, bummer

Keep feeding it CCIs and your gun will be just fine. Make sure you clean any crud away from the bolt and chamber.
