Picked up my new Shield .40 yesterday. Couldn't believe how slim and light it was. Went out and ran a couple of hundred rounds through it. I never thought it would happen, but a new gun just replaced my beloved HK P2000sk. The Shield is the new EDC. I really enjoyed shooting the Shield and no malfunctions. I'm a happy camper.

Mighty fine shootin iron! Never thought anything would replace my Glock 27 for EDC, but the Shield .40 did.

40 shield replaced my beloved K9. great little pistol!:)

A friend of mine from W.V. called me all excited that he got the call to pick up his Shield 9 for $399. He absolutely loved the feel of it. I told him wait till you shoot it :D. He told the shop that he wanted a second one for his wife. He has a BIL that owns a pharmacy and has been robbed three times. The pharmacist CC and my friend said that he was going to tell his BIL that he should get the Shield. All this from a true blue Glock guy.

The Shield .40 replaced my Bersa .380 which I enjoyed and shot well with. I don't get as tight groups as with the Bersa, but I am improving. What amazes me is that the .40 is not much more snappy than the BT .380.

Yeah, I got my wife a Shield 9. She likes it a lot, but she's now faced with a dilemma . . . what to carry?

Her Shield (she named it "Brooke" after the actress . . .) or her Mod 60 ("Nemo"). Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Got a shield 40 last week. Shot it twice already and can't believe how apprehensive I was over getting the "little" 40 cal. Handles so well, even with the smaller mag.
I am (was) a Glock guy before, and just showed my dad the shield tonight. He is a Glock/Springfield guy but was amazed at the slimness. Even more so when I told him how well it handles.

eddieb1, only have about a hundred rounds through mine but no malfunctions yet. Is going to be my EDC when I get my CCW next month for sure!

My Shield 40 is already my EDC and my M&P40 Compact is a backup! I love this little gun! I am so glad I traded my Kel-Tec PF9 for a fullsize 45 M&P and now the Shield beat that 9 mm all to pieces plus it is a 40 caliber!
