Well.....my deer season is DONE....for the most part

Shot this Monster this morning after a horrible weekend of hunting prior to......shot a nice buck saturday night and after a vigorous search on sunday, no deer. I had 2 days scheduled for vacation on election day and the day after. wouldnt you know it, this deer followed a doe in at 7:20am on election day, 11/06/12. He is my best to date with any weapon and also the biggest bodied deer I have ever shot

I'm used to Mulies out here but that is a big deer. Only ones I've seen close have been in Iowa. There they hang around the tourist trap lakes where there is no hunting and get fat.

very very nice buck!!!! he looks like he will score in the mid to high 150's. i'm hunting one buck this year and have seen him many times, just can't get close enough with the bow. gun starts next weekend!!!!

My part of Texas has been pitiful.
10 seasons same or close to location hasve not
seen one deer.
Never have seen it like this...but we have a long season here.
