Well, that does it !

Looks to me like somebody needs to get another CS9!
I wonder if Lefty or Lobo would give the option of return?
I mean for a firearm dedicated setup?
I have similar problems, but my solution was simple.
642/442/431 in one of Mika's pocket holsters.
Please post an update if you can find something that
works for you. It'd probably work for others as well.

Well, no update on holsters....I'm still working on that one. Pocket carry, at least for the 6904/6906, is not practical. Tried it for several days, with an improvised pocket holster. Too much weight. Concealment and comfort were not the problem.

So, back to OWB carry. I have found, through experience, that if I carry to the REAR of the 3:00 position (or 9:00, if carrying crossdraw)......that is just intolerable. As I said before, in the winter, with a tucked in shirt between me and the holster/gun, it is tolerable. But, for summer wear, as I can't stand an undershirt, behind 3:00 just won't do.

So, I am left with carry at 2:00 - 3:00 (or around 10:00, if crossdraw). Still not completely comfortable, but better than behind the hip (for me). Concealment is more of a problem, in this position, as is the holstered gun moving around as I walk. But, for now, it's the best I can do. Thing is, I started carry in this position, then tried to switch to the "normal" behind the hip position.

I know now that, if it is not to drive me crazy with discomfort, I must carry in front of the hip. That's as far as it goes for now.

I have a 4013TSW that I find I can pocket carry IF I have generous pockets, a real gun belt, and if I use a standard 4006 / 4003 floor plate for the magazine. Even so, it is weight that'll get ya in the end. These are just not pocket pistols IMO, and they resist any serious effort to make them so.

Since this thread is five years old at the time I write this, it may not be of interest to the OP. However, I very comfortably carry a 6904 in my khakis. I wear Carhartt branded pants with slash pockets. The gun sits in my right front pocket like it was tailor made. The gun draws without snagging due to its flush fitting hammer. I retired my J-frame because there's no longer a need for it thanks to the Carharrts.

Same here. Buy cargo pants/ shorts with the pockets on the side of your leg, not in front. This way the gun is not banging you in the leg as you walk. I easily carry my 3" 686p or glock 19 with no one the wiser.

Old thread, but I've recently transitioned to Duluth Fire Hose shorts, and they have massive front pockets. I don't have a 6906 to try, but my Kel-tec P11 fit easily and the 44 SPL Taurus 445 that is my daily pocket gun disappears.

Anybody else out there pocket carry a 6904 or 6906 (or similar) ? Am I crazy ?

Well, I think pocket carrying that large lump of metal is nuts, but to each their own.

6906 in a Bianchi OWB or a Glock 33 IWB in a can't remember leather, but that's just me. 6906 in my pocket becomes trousers-around-the-ankle carry.

Maybe a 3913/14 would be a better choice, quite a bit thinner in the grip frame are that is sticking you. Im a "thick" guy but carry a 6906 in a aker belt slide type holster, the gun sits pretty low, I know when I drop my 3914 in there it makes quite a difference, if not and you like those type guns the a CS may be the only way for you to go.Good luck.

ADD: Just to piggyback on Dr Mordo's statement about the Duluth firehose shorts/pants, I bought a pair of pants for mowing and trimming, man they are thick and a bit heavy, BUT awesome for walking in the fields, hunting etc, Also the right front pocket has a separate pouch in the pocket for a pocket knife I presume, but an extra mag fits right in stays nice and snug, its great.

K-framer hasn't logged in in almost 2 years so I'm going to assume the point is moot to him but I have found that a Bianchi Pancake holster for a Glock 26 fits the 6906 perfectly. The Galco Summer Comfort 226 (Also for a Glock 26) is also a good fit.

I carry a 6904 in an OWB holster.. I'm a big feller, but if old K-framer can carry a 6904 or 6906 in his pocket, he don't need a gun. He could go bear huntin' with a broom.;):D

I didn't read the whole thread. I think it's time you tried a 442 J-Frame.
