Now that I have your attention I only think its fitting that I post my main carry, mountain/woods carry to the S&W family.

My BMCM custom 1026. Shes sporting a Dawson fiber optic and an LPA Adjustable rear, riding in a Milt Sparks 55BN FBI Elephant trim rig. The gun is spot on at 25yds and can shoot way better than me. Best I could do is a 1.75 group at 25yds running underwoods range 180gr on the bench.

Sorry I forgot to mention she's rocking FBI palm swells loaded up with Underwood 200grn hard cast and extreme penetrators in a FBI 11rd back up and a standard mag in a Milt Sparks Elephant double mag holder

20 years in Florida, I long for the mountains.

First time with my son up here in Burnsville North Carolina and probably the last time my pup will be with me in this peaceful country.

This finely crafted cannon will now accompany me for many years to come threw the woods and over the mountains and hills.

Just figured I would share her. Sorry dont know why the photos uploaded sideways like that..

Thanks again

ERIK

I love EVERYTHING except the fiber optic, but I understand that's just me and others like what they like. Of all of the goodies in the post and pictures... I like the dog the most and the 1026 is close behind! :D

As for that 11-round magazine, you've got more guts than me. Those silly items are too valuable in the marketplace to carry. Well, poor word choice by me. The mags are not at all silly but the market for them certainly is. You might be the only guy that is actually using one these days! That right there ups the cool factor at least a handful of percentage points.

Great post!

No sir. I am about 2.5 hours east of there. But we go up there every spring for vacation. Beautiful part of the state. And it is a bit warm, for this time of year.

Enjoy your stay! :) Regards 18DAI

Thanks Sevens, I dont make it to the mountains all that much so(maybe every 3 years) I figured I have it might as well use it... the market sure is crazy for them. I sold a 15rd mag approx a year ago for around 5 beans.. this 11rd is permanent. Might as well let it out to play, it will go right back in the safe when home...

I love the fiber optic any bit of light hits that fiber and she just lights up, but respectfully to each is own sir I understand

My wife loves the Biltmore. And it is beautifully decorated at this time of year. Be sure and stop by the winery and Cafe. Great food! And spirits! ;) Regards 18DAI

Thank you sir, he's a lab, chow and weimaraner.

We call him "Diesel" he's 12years of age...

Why I said it's my last trip with him... he has some pretty aggressive nasal polyps that are affecting his overall quality of life, so it's kinda a last hurrah...

Enjoy him while you can... I am sure that he enjoyed the trip.

A bunch of retirees from my old dept moved to Burnesville, love the area but the state income tax is a huge turn off,
The good news is you can hit Tennessee with a rock from there which has no state income tax.
Btw if your looking for a nice scenic drive besides the Blueridge pkwy try going 19E north of town then go right on Rte 19W ,
It goes along scenic streams n rivers under a canopy of trees, then up n over a small mountain then back down into Tennnessee to Rte 26 just south of Johnson City.

Thanks guys.... the Biltmore was a bust drove all the way there and they are sold out !?!?! Who knew...

Drove threw ashville didn't bother to stop given the demographic of pedestrians, we wanted nothing to do with it, we hit a nice amish shop locally and will do Mitchell mountain tomorrow and the blue ridge...
