Be aware it may be corrosive ammo (the primers anyway).
If 7.62 x 54r it could have a 147 grain (light ball) or 174 grain (heavy ball) bullet.
I usually pull the bullets and reuse them. The powder goes on the lawn and the steel cases get tossed.

Yes and yes. Some years back a friend and I bought one of those cases and split the cost and ammo. It is good strong ammo and if you shoot it I suggest you use Sweets 762 to clean out your barrel. The stuff is FILTHY. lolEach "Spam can" contains 440 rounds of Soviet light ball ammo (147 gr), steel core bullet, in a copper washed steel case. The Lot number is E81 from 1973 made in factory 188, supposedly Klimov (AKA Klimovsk) or Novosibirsk, where I think the Klimov factory was relocated when the Wehrmacht was knocking on the gates of Moscow..
I've shot 2 cans of this stuff through my MN. Accuracy isn't great by any means, but it's a cheap way to knock the heck out of steel at 300 yds.
Definitely corrosive primers, after a shooting session I spray the barrel with a mix of 10% Ballistol and 90% water. Rifle bore still looks brand new.
I read somewhere the powder used in these is very similar to 4895.
