The hotel got great buffet-food and a breathtakin' location.

The weekly markets are always a great place to find anything you won't ever eat.

...and something that tastes really great.

Funny they know how to make fluids out of fruits...!!

The village got all kind of food. Chinese, German, French, Steak-houses and this one...

I have a beautiful set of Majorca pearls our exchange student from Spain brought me. What did your wife buy?

What did your wife buy?

2 pair of shoes and a thicker wooljacket for the now upcoming fall. And the same knife, that i bought, only a little bit smaller.
She likes the shape of this knife and will use it as a letter-opener.

Mallorca

Swissman....great place. Spent Christmas 1974 and 1975 there (Palma) while deployed with the USN 6th Fleet. The Northern European Ladies on Holiday were certainly wonderful....missed home but a really fun place for lonely sailors.....

If anyone wants to know, that sort of knife is called a "navaja." Albacete is a cutlery center in Spain.

And did you notice Swissman's Victorinox being used to open the wine? Is that the Spartan model?

By the way, that wine sells well here, too.

Swissman, do you happen to know much about Spanish laws about the carrying of knives? I'm guessing that they're among the more liberal in Europe. The laws in the UK and Denmark are very restrictive now.
