The biological sciences were not well developed during the times of the Roman Legions. Most sponges I've seen in the wild appear to be more plant like than animal. I'm sure even the Romans of old believed they were being true vegan when sharing sponge on a stick.

I was in Argentina in the early 70's they had some tough economic times and shortages. I remember a TP shortage that had a 3 ton truck with a stake bed full of TP selling for $1 a roll US, one barker out front, one order filler and two guys on top with Thompson machine guns, flat magazines not round.We used air mail stationary crumpled until soft.

You'd be amazed at all you can put in a handbag, including stuff your husband doesn't feel like carrying. Kleenex make's mini packs of facial tissue. Always have handy-wipes too, grandkids are always sticky.
