Today is the 10th anniversary of the final episode of The Sopranos series on HBO.

I was reading about the interesting assortment of firearms used in the shows production, and it occurred to me that I was familiar with many of them because the forum members here made the effort to share them.

I thought it might be amusing to post this link for the Internet Movie Firearms Database, so that you could check which character had your taste in firearms.

I'm bummed nobody had any of mine, but Phil & Tony came closest with the 2" 686.

I miss that show! I kept HBO, back in the day, because of it!
It's funny you should say that. Once the series ended, my husband cancelled the HBO service and has never watched it again. I picked our brains earlier to realize that it was the last series we watched that didn't come from PBS.

I never got to see it--I was usually at work and didnt get bck home til after 11 PM.

We rented the DVD's which is what we do with many primetime soap operas if we decide to watch them. Personally I like watching a series marathon style, as to waiting for episodes. Once I become invested I want to follow through, not wait weeks, months, or years between.

Funny I never paid attention to the firearms used, I usually tend to do that with westerns.

It was a great series and I couldn't wait to see the next episode.

It is still on "HBO On Demand", all the episodes.;)

I do watch them even though I've seen them many times before.

S&W Model 60 and Walther PPK are 2 that appeared on the show which I own.

That was an excellent show, it had good acting and was well written. It's one of my two favorite serious series of all time, along with "Breaking Bad". I thought they ended it perfectly. I never cared much for Journey, but now every time I hear that song, I flash back to the final scene.

As far as my guns from the show:

Ruger Mk. II
S&W Model 629
Remington 870

There're others on the list I've owned in the past, but those I've listed are current.

I had never watched any of the Sopranos when it originally aired. I started watching it from the beginning on Amazon Prime a while back. I'm in the middle of season 3. It's a very good series.

I only have one handgun on the list, a Glock 17.

You ought to try Game of Thrones. I Have:

All their swords
most of the daggers
Some of their bows
very few of their spells
No dragons, but I keep trying Dragon Buyer, they're too rich for my blood (I may have to settle for one of Harry Potters Dragons)

Man I miss that show. I have a Beretta - I think the 92 series was used quite a bit on that show, as well as the 80 series. And while I love my AR, that scene where Tony sits in his lawn chair smoking a cigar holding an AK in order to chase off a bear really makes me want to buy an AK!

Was? It is available on Infinity On Demand if you have Comcast.
I asked in-laws in Florida who have Xfinity on Demand with Comcast, with the remote you talk to. All they did was say the word "Sopranos" to the remote, and all the episodes appeared for viewing. They are watching the first episode now, with the ducks in the pool.

Picking on folks-
Used to have a Buddy from Boston.
We would ask him-
Did you folks really park your caaar in the yaaard?
He would reply,
First of all we didn't have a car.
We also didn't have a yard.
Are there anymore questions?
No, I think that pretty well covers it.
