Redcoat3340 dry firing is an EXCELLENT idea. I myself do dry firing practice several times per week.

all the recent discussion regarding the 4506 has juiced me to take my -1 to the range tomorrow .....with the current situation only CCW's are getting range use and an HK45c fills that role with 3913nl and my 6906..... you guys that carry a 4506 make me feel like a wimp...

Anyone that says they can't shoot a DA/SA gun needs to learn to shoot. If you can master DA/SA, then everything is doable.

It lets you master striker fired guns.

Even the dreaded HK VP70Z.
