Thursday is going to bring a memorial service at Baylor for the people of the West Texas tragedy.

The first disturbing fact is that Mr. Obama is going to attend. The second disturbing fact is that the group from Westboro Baptist Church( the ones that protest at the military funerals) is planning on being there

Might be the perfect storm for them.

SS,TDPS,Waco PD,County Sheriff,MC Guard ( the ones that protect veteran funerals) and the regular People that respectect things that should be.

how is Mr. Obama going to make it to the service on Thursday when that's the day they are doing George W's library service too?? Air Force One would barely get up a few hundred feet and have to land at Waco.

I don't know, but you are correct. It is a hop, skip, and a jump. It would probably be quicker in a motorcade. Probably safer.

Respect the OFFICE, if not the holder.
That means the President of the United States will be referred to as "the President", or by the accepted usage of his last name or initials- 'Obama' or 'BHO'. Other government officials will be afforded the same courtesy.

Thanks ditrina-I guess I missed why it would not be proper, and even an honor; especially for the folks that have endured this horrific tragedy, to have the President of the United States of America attend this service(??)
