What a day!

Back where I grew up in Va. Do not recognize much as its been 20 years since here last. Visited a good friend thats a retired St Trooper and not in good health. His wife was in our class and we talked about the good ole days. 55th high school reunion is tomorrow night which will be interesting.
Picked up another friend as he does not drive far and went the Va Beach to see long time friend that owned London Bridge Trading Co. Has amazing collection of late 1800s to early 1900s breech loading cannons and several other interesting guns. Recently picked up the full auto 40 mm grenade launcher that was mounted on some “ Slick” gun ships in Vietnam. Hoping he will bring it to N.C. when we have our next cannon shoot. We sat and talked about the “ good ole days” back in the 70s as he had the gun shows around here back then. He showed us the cartridges for the Gyro Jet pistol and some of the CIA ones also, has an amazing collection. Staying at Grandsons so will come back in a few months and see more. Traffic is horrible, almost as bad as Chicago back in 70s-90s. I’ll gladly take traffic around JAX Fl any day!!!!!

Have been in his shops for many many years. Amazining items they made for the SEALs. One time he asked me “ not to look at an item” as it was classified! He used to come out to the farm with his MGs and shoot for years, the good ole days.
