Watched the Washington versus Detroit game this evening. Wow, it was the most entertaining NFL game I've seen in years. It had everything, one handed touchdown catches, outrageous trick plays, lots of 4th down action, and a bunch of scores. Final was 45-31. Washington won because they had a better offense and made fewer mistakes.

As far as the "other game"
Mahomes definitely got the best of that deal

A lot of surprised / shocked fans this morning, hell of a game !

It was refreshing to see teams/players who truly wanted to win, and go all out to do it.

As a Browns fan, I can honestly say that I know nothing about professional football. What are first downs, touchdowns, and playoffs? I am completely baffled by these strange words.

Watching the Pirates' losing for all these years is prepping us fans down the road for 10-15 years of losing football.
Why didn't Cleveland draft Big Ben?

I was hoping the Lions would soldier on. You can't win the big games with
several turnovers, a 12-man penalty, and a trick play gone wrong. I've gotta give them credit. Twas the best season I've ever seen out of them. A 15 and 1 regular season is nothing to sneeze at. Maybe next year when all their injured players are healthy again.

I think, what usually happens, a #1 seed is playing at home and doesn't take the game as seriously as they should and simply doesn't play well. When they realize that the game is starting to get away, they try to force things and - that usually doesn't work with frustration, mistakes and penalties.

The other team, with nothing to lose, came to spoil the party and they do.

I think that's what happened!

I'm not a fan of either team, but it was a great game!

I would guess the sportsbook managers here in Vegas had a big party last night. Maybe a couple of punters got lucky, betting on the Commanders by two touchdowns.

Never underestimate the Lions ability to get your hopes up and then crush 'em like a bug...

Where is Tobin Rote when you really need him? The Chargers are asking the same question.

If you don't know who Tobin Rote is, you are neither a Lion nor a Charger fan. If you claim to be a Lion or a Charger fan and you don't know who he is, shame on you! Look him up. He's one of the great forgotten players in pro football history.

The hero, so far in the current game, for the Eagles is the FG kicker putting em' through under the conditions.

Check that, Barkley. :D

Barkley finished with 205 yards on the ground, and 27 receiving.
