What am I missing?

I bought a set of KSD walnut grips from another forum member for my 1006 awhile back and have just gotten around to installing them. When I put them on, there was nothing to hold the hammer spring captive and induce tension like in the original grips. Is there supposed to be an insert of some sort that I'm missing?

Yes, there should be a plastic mainspring block.

Great! Guess I'll have to find out if they're available separately from KSD. I'll try and be optimistic, but I haven't heard positive things about their customer service.
