what did you pay for your shield 9s or 40s

S449 is the retail price, & many paid that, & even more to get a Shield while demand was stronger than supply. But now that demand has dropped, the prices are coming down. $399 seems to be the norm. Remember, stores pay $335 for the Shields. Of course they pay less for the Shields that are supposed to be sold to LE. GARY

I just paid $389 with free shipping plus $15 FFL transfer fee for a Shield 9.

Good Buy

$379 at a gun show last weekend in SW MO. Dealer said he had 12 (9mm's) when he got there Saturday morning. Others were asking $425-$450. Plenty of ammo at reasonable prices, except for 22lr.

$449.99, but my father paid $400 and a friend paid like $380. I could have done better but I was trading in a *** Kahr CM40 (which I lost my shirt on), so I just wanted to get rid of the junk and get a gun that actually worked, so it was worth every penny.

I paid 449.00. I could have waited a while and got it for 399 at another lgs but i actually found one and jumped on it.

$335 included shipping to my FFL. Then I pay $20 to him.

Found one during the hype and bought it at that price, then got a couple more a few months ago.

That's first responder pricing. ;)

Haha! Got all you guys beat.

I paid $549 from a small lgs back in February when they were damn near impossible to find. I don't regret it, though. It's the best gun I own. Sick accurate with the Apex Shield carry kit I installed and the Ameriglo i-dot sights I installed on it. Just picked up a second one at far more reasonable pricing last week.

Ouch!!!

You wouldn't have had that much into a NIB 3913TSW!!!

Paid $400 OTD last December for a 9mm. :) Recently paid $900 OTD for a .40 Shield with another gun. Sold the another for $700 which puts me into the Shield for $200. I need some more of those deals! :D

$439 ... only slightly below retail, but after I got home, I found out how hard they are to get around here. I thought they were pretty much par-for-the-course. So I didn't get a great deal, but I didn't get ripped off either.

I hear ya, but my other option was waiting for one to pop up at Academy or an online retailer. The Shield I picked up last week had been on back order for more than six months.

It's the best carry gun I've ever owned. Unbelievably accurate for its size. Like I said, I regret nothing. When I'm shooting it, I don't even think how much it cost me. All I can think of is how easy it is to ring 10" steel plates from 15 yards.
