This is my carry duo.

A Sig 239 357Sig, night sights and CTC grips is primary.

And Sig 232 is BUG. Soon to have night sights and CTC grips.

And 2 extra mags for each.

My EDC companions for several years now:

Glock G19 Gen III (Sam Andrews IWB McDaniels II holster)
S&W 642-1 No-lock (Robert Mika or UM pocket holster)

For uniform duty I carry a Glock 23

For plain clothed duty carry I often alternate the Glock 23 with my Smith & Wesson 3 inch model 65.

. . . and for a BUG and off duty I carry a Walther PPK/S

My every day carry is either a Walther PPK/S 380 or a 1911 45ACP. Depends on weather and what I'm wearing. I ALWAYS have in my pocket a Seecamp 32ACP. Utterly reliable and very easy to conceal.

ON duty, it's a 2nd generation Glock 22 in a Galco "Combat Master" OWB holster along with a spare mag and a Surefire G2 flashlight in a Galco "MFP" carrier.

Off duty, it's my "new" Smith & Wesson J frame model 60 no dash (circa 1980-81) Chief's Special in a Fobus paddle holster. I hate the Fobus with a passion but it's only temporary until I get my new Fist #9 OWB holster from xrmattaz next week. I'm also in the market for a black leather speed strip carrier if anybody has one for sale. :D

EDC my BUG is a Smith & Wesson J frame model 38 no dash (circa 1985-86) Airweight Bodyguard carried in a DeSantis "Nemesis" pocket holster. I wear it...

Every. Single. Day.

EDC is a 432 PD (.32 H&R Magnum) with Lasermax grips in an Uncle Mike's #3 pocket holster; and BUG is a .32ACP Seecamp in a horsehide Galco pocket holster on the non-dominant side.

Regards,

Dave

Sig P229R in .357 Sig. One or two J frames. One goes in my pocket, sometimes another one goes up under my left arm attached to the panel carrier of my armor. I have a fair number of J frames that I consider to be interchangeable.

Option B, that I'm probably going to return to is a Series 70 Colt 1911 that is only four years younger than I am. And one or two J frames carried in the same manner.

Duty gun is a Glock 22. BUG is S&W 342. Off duty depends on weather and where I'm going.

My Kel-Tec is in the shop for warranty work so my Smith is my main carry. When I had my Kel-Tec, it was my main carry when I'm tooling around town but when I go to work then my Kel-Tec is my BUG and my Smith is my main carry with 2 other mags.

Winter: 681 or M&P40 in shoulder holster with 642 IWB or my specially modified coat pocket "holster". :) Every now and then I'll carry my 629 in the shoulder holster.

Summer: 642 IWB 80% of the time... M&P40C IWB 20%.

Always have a speedloader for the wheel guns and an extra mag for the M&Ps.

Personally I like carrying better in the winter.. more options...

I'm in Arizona where T-shirts and shorts are the dress of the day (it's going to be 110 tomorrow it was 115 a few days ago). Anyway, you need something very small to be readily concealable so my EDC gun is a Kel-Tec P3AT loaded with 7 rounds of Buffalo Bore Gold Dots. It only weighs 11 ounces fully loaded and I drop it in a pocket holster into cargo pants and it just disappears. For a BUG, I have a 16-ounce titanium Taurus 605 SH2 .357 which is the same size as a J-frame Smith and as light as an Airweight but it will shoot either .357s or +P 38s. I carry my S&W 410 40 cal in the car because it's too big for easy concealed carry.

M&P40c and Kel-Tec P3AT

The P3AT never leaves my pocket and is usually accompanied by the 40c. That 1 round extension makes all the difference on the P3AT. I'm as accurate with it as I am it's big brother.

Duty - Beretta Mini Cougar 8000D 9mm
BUG/Off Duty - Custom 9mm S&W 360J

At work; P3AT with a NAA Black Widow as BUG. Occasionally the right pants allow me to replace the P3AT with a 360 PD.

At home or around town; 5" 629, Taurus 605 2 1/4" as a BUG and the NAA as #3. In the winter I usually drop my 360 PD in my jacket's inside breast pocket. I carry a reload for everything except the Black Widow.

Smith & Wesson 696 revolver and Browning BDA380 pistol. The criteria for acceptable firearms; either a double action centerfire revolver with a minimum 5-round capacity or a centerfire semiautomatic pistol...AND RANGEMASTER APPROVAL. The last part came after some smart aleck showed up with a Raven .25 Auto.

That's funny. What, he couldn't find a Jenning's?

Be safe.

In winter and when clothing allows, my three inch Model 13, shown here. In summer and in a pocket, a new production Model 40-1 in nickel. No pics of it; still learning this photo thing.
