Seen previous posts asking "What did you reload TODAY?", so I thought I'd ask what your reloading plans for the near future might be...? Not trying to stir up the pot during this time of shortages (artificial?), but there's no harm in asking (I hope!).

Having just taken an informal inventory of both supplies and my factory & reloaded stock, I'm thinking more along the HD/SD lines than increasing my typical range loads, i.e., using FMJ & HP's vs. plated or cast/coated.

Just finished some 185gr 45acp ZOMBIE!, have plenty of the Federal 130gr JHPWC to play with (Thanks, Nevada Ed!) in 38/357, a box of Xtreme's 9mm FMJ, and some Speer Deep Curl for 45 Colt. Now, if I can figure out what to do in 40 S&W it would seem I have way enough to keep me occupied for the immediate future.

Cheers!

After an inventory of my reloading supplies, a decision is pretty easy. I have a good supply of large pistol primers, .45 cast bullets for .45 Colt, .45 flat point and round point full metal jacket bullets for .45 auto, and .41 JHP bullets for the .41 Mag. The variety and quantity of powder isn't an issue. My next loads will be .45 Auto.

Yesterday I loaded .45 colt and 6.5 Creedmoor. Later in the week I may load up some .223s

I'm loading .45ACP 180 grain cowboy loads right now. Next (probably right after turkey tomorrow) will be .357Mag. I've been quarantining the last two weeks and have loaded .357Sig, .40, 10mm, and .41Mag, as well as playing around with a powder coating setup to see if I can make it work for me.

Three calibers to get worked on this weekend;.357 Magnum, .41 Magnum, and 6.5 Grendel. I have enough small and large magnum pistol primers for a couple hundred rounds each. I have a ton of small rifle primers, about 500 new brass and 350-400 or so bullets for the Grendel. Makes those sleepless nights more bearable.

.223 / 5.56
I decapped and resized over a thousand cases and trimmed a couple of hundred of them. Over the next couple of days I'll finish the trimming, deburring and pocket reaming. I've got a thousand 55gr FMJBT and a thousand 75gr FMJBT. I'll probably load up a few hundred of each.

FWIW I tried swaging the primer pockets with an RCBS tool, and I wasn't impressed with the results. It leaves a ridge around the rim of the primer pocket, whereas my Lyman reamer actually bevels the edge of the pocket rim.

Boy am I ever glad that all the brass prep only has to be done once.

I have some 454 casull's and 460 magnums ready for powder and bullets, if I can make it to the range Friday I will have some empty 50 Beowulf's and something else in a pistol caliber.

I recently loaded a lot of 9mm and 45 acp. I loaded some 300 BO a while back but haver a bunch of brass ready to go so I will probably load another batch of those. I have a pretty good stock and shoot more 9mm and 45 acp than rifle so I keep a good stock of both. I am fortunate that I keep a good stock of components as well and can hold out for a good while but hope it gets back to normal in the next year or so.

I have had a 1000 357 Sig on the bench since March. I have had 500 380 on the back burner since 1987. If we get locked down again, I will have a place to escape to. My wife has a sewing room for same escape. It is a coping mechanism that has allowed to stay happily married for 42.5 years now!

If anyone is looking 25 ACP fired cases to help you blow off steam, I have some for you.

Ivan

My first ever try at 9 mm. Just got a batch of PennBullets coated 120 gr TCs. Will start with a small batch of mild and work up from there.
I never had the urge or need to reload 9 until recent events, happened. I've still got 800 or so factory rounds I'll keep in the rainy day stash.

I bought components to load 45 colt...but I need to get some brass.

My next round is going to be 7.62x54r. In all honesty, I could get everything I need now...but with the holidays coming, I didn't want to drop $100+ on materials.

I have my eye on 350 Legend, but the lack of projectiles that exist is still a turnoff. If more options become available, I'll probably convert an AR to it and start loading for that as well.

The Dillon is set up for 9mm and I have been loading a few at a time to test. I haven't load 9 for over 10 years as I have been shooting the former cheap factory stuff.

My factory stuff is so valuable now, I am reloading 9 again. I have a box of 1,000 Precision Delta FMJ and I am going to be working on that in the foreseeable future. As it is getting more Winter like here, my Summer of shooting is coming to an end.

My next session will be to form cases and load another box of 256 Gibbs Magnum.
That's for a Geo.Gibbs Sporter built on a Greek 1903Mannlicher Schoenauer.

I form them from 30-06 surplus brass using a shortened 6.5Swede FL sizer & a 303 Brit FL sizer to reduce body taper (something I didn't do the first time around). There's trimming and neck reaming of course as well.
Seating and light crimping with the 6,5Swede crimp die.
Starter load using the Swede cartridge loading data is accurate and comfortable to shoot.
I use 160gr FMJ pulled military bullets of unkn origin that I happen to have a lot of.

The rifle had been sitting idle too long and I just shot up the last handful of rounds I had a couple weeks ago.

Also on the list is a box of 9.3x74R for a German DR.
I load 9mm Makarov jacketed HP bullets (95gr?) and 12gr of Red Dot.
They shoot beautifully to the POA at 50m with the 200m rear sight leaf.
..Or with the orig 'scope in claw mounts on top.
Saves the shoulder from abuse. The bigboy ammo for another time.

Probably some plain old 45Colt for a Ruger OM Blackhawk conversion project I'm finishing up. No real need at the moment as there's more work to do before range time and front sight filing.
But if I don't get at it, I never will. Loads will be light.

Pretty soon the weather will dictate more reloading sessions than Range sessions .

Probably some reduced load 44 Magnums. Loaded 9 with my home cast .430" 240 grain SWC's and 7 grains of Unique last weekend for my Rossi lever gun. Chronographed out at about 1050 fps. Figure I will load up enough now to go for a spell.
