Getting ready to hit the range in a few weeks. Got a membership pending with with Green Valley range "Home of the Bianca Cup". I can't see any reason they would exclude me.

I am usually well prepared for all the ranges I have shot on.

What extras do you include in your range bag?

I usually carry...

Guns
Ammo
Mags
Speed Loaders
Chapman Set of Screwdrivers
Tape
Spotting Scope
Targets
Micro Fiber Clothes for wiping guns down
Hydration
Plastic sacks for brass collection

I always carry a minimalist cleaning kit, too.
Earmuffs or Ear plugs (The latter are NOT enuff as I have always used em and have a 25% hearing loss.)
Shooting glasses
I carry a very small pair of Nikon Binocs (10X) rather than a scope on the pistol range.

Mine is a simple bag.

3 firearms other than the one I wear.
200 rounds of ammo for each gun.
hearing protection for two people
10 loaded magazines for my cary gun.
2 cloth baby diapers for wiping the outside of the guns
$3 worth of change for the vending machines

Most of the above items remain in the bag so I can go shooting on the spur of the moment.

Ha! I was going to say a staple gun and some extra masking tape. Range staplers are beat to death and the masking tape can double as target patch material.

(I have this list printed out to be sure my bag is stocked before I leave)

Guns and Ammo (obvious)
stapler
targets
cardboard
long tape measure
binoculars
toilet paper
paper towels
laser pointer
eye protection
ear protection
mags
bug spray
duct tape
Sharpie Markers
spray paint
pencil
camera and tripod

Guns
Ammo
Targets
Staple gun w/extra staples
Masking Tape
Sharpie Marker
Pencil
Log book
Ears

I carry tools and cleaning supplies in a separate box.

Lens wipes and batteries for electronic muffs and illuminated optics.

Not necessarily a range bag item but a First Aid kit should be kept handy.

always bring a bottle of water...nothing ruins a day of shooting like being thirsty and not having anything to drink.

Shoo, You know my Mini-Midnight Pro Hammer is in my range-bag, that's what I bought it for and the full size is on my bench. The range bag is always loaded and ready to go except for specific pistol and ammo.

That's the only way to go..... well, not the only way, but definitely a good idea !!! Hope you are enjoying using them, Shoo

I have one of those Midway Range bags with seperate ammo bag.

I have everything mention plus who only knows? I even cleaned it out the other day. The magazine compartment must have had every extra mag I own. I thought it would lighten it up taking them out, it didn't:)

The ammo bag is just as bad must have ten different brands of 22lr along with whatever caliber I am shooting that day.

I need a cart.

Yup... Sounds just like my ammo bag. :D. The ammo bag also carries sticky targets, paper and stapler.

Just about everything that's already been mentioned...

But I keep a first aid kit in the car- always.

Bring extra hearing protection- alway wind up needing it, or can sell it at a profit to those that need it at the range. :D

Y'all are forgetting the most important thing to bring...lunch! ;)

Terrible to be out shooting with nothing to eat! Shame on y'all! :p

I will freely admit, it takes a day or so of planning for me to go shoot'n, because by the time I get loaded- there's no more room for anything in the car!

I do take a bucket of water and some detergent when I'm shoot'n blackpowder revolvers. The cylinders and barrels get so fouled after about five cylinders each nothing will cure them other than a good dunk with a stiff brush.
