The older one wasn't great, but I don't like this new one at all. I spent 10 minutes trying to find the performance center on there and then gave up.

Feels like it's overly busy and too many windows, things opening up, etc.

I was trying to use the site a couple of days ago. I found it too dark and busy. There doesn't seem to be a dedicated parts area. Way too much information and no easy way just to just go to a parts catalog or schematic with part numbers.

Maybe I was just not ready for the new format. I do like things simple.

Do you think if enough of us complained they would change the way it works?

It is not user friendly.

While I see where they're going - with the market for tactical and black guns - I don't much care for it.

I will agree with your statement only to a point.

Is S&W really going to tactical and black guns? I hate the plastic guns. I own one black S&W handgun and it is a S&W 422 I bought for my youngest daughter about 1989 for target shooting. I admit to owning a pricey S&W "assault rifle" but that is it. The rest of my guns are either blued or stainless and that represents what I am seeing on the dealer shelves.

Would there be some place where production numbers could be found showing how many of each gun was produced?

While owning several Glocks, I recently purchased a S&W 1911 and it shoots so great that I all but stopped carrying a Glock.

Another question I have is if S&W is regaining any of their law enforcement sales? I have seen a couple agencies leave Glock but they went to makers other than S&W.

S&W, at least to me, is once again a true American company and as such deserves the American business. My latest S&W purchase is so far ahead of what I expected, I only hope it shows others what a great gun they offer.

While I have been to the S&W site, I use it more for a tool to see what is out there for the consumer

The old site was pretty bad, but somehow S&W managed to make it worse.

+1 They have tried to cram so much information on one screen that it almost impossible to find what you are looking for. It looks like something a big committee put together with everybody trying to get their special area of interest noticed.

It sucks, but not on account of what most of you are complaining about,I can find my way about well enough, just for me the damn thing doesn't run without crashing........
can't count the times I've been there now and go play on other sites while I wait for it to load (it's also very slow) and when I come back it's only half loaded or buttons ain't working! so I have to re-load it.

Ether they need a new server or they should have tested for bugs before unleashing this site.

From what I've seen so far, I don't really like it. It seems to take a long time to load. On the old site, you could look up handguns by caliber or model number. If you can do that on the new site, I haven't been able to find it.

Just went there as I've been away from it for a while.

Load fast, changes screens very rapidly, and I could find the few things I was after.

So far, faster/better IMHO than the old site.

Will be back on there later today for a longer look.

I think it sucks, can't find anything and there's no way to search by model like on the old one.

It's a bit dark for my taste. I can find my way around OK but there's a lot of info on every page and you have to drill down through several windows to get to what you are looking for. It isn't terrible but I would prefer a lighter environment. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. You can search by keyword or product #, but I preferred the old way. The drop-down boxes just seemed to be simpler. It was easier to search for model number or caliber.
