While I see where they're going - with the market for tactical and black guns - I don't much care for it.
I will agree with your statement only to a point.
Is S&W really going to tactical and black guns? I hate the plastic guns. I own one black S&W handgun and it is a S&W 422 I bought for my youngest daughter about 1989 for target shooting. I admit to owning a pricey S&W "assault rifle" but that is it. The rest of my guns are either blued or stainless and that represents what I am seeing on the dealer shelves.
Would there be some place where production numbers could be found showing how many of each gun was produced?
While owning several Glocks, I recently purchased a S&W 1911 and it shoots so great that I all but stopped carrying a Glock.
Another question I have is if S&W is regaining any of their law enforcement sales? I have seen a couple agencies leave Glock but they went to makers other than S&W.
S&W, at least to me, is once again a true American company and as such deserves the American business. My latest S&W purchase is so far ahead of what I expected, I only hope it shows others what a great gun they offer.
While I have been to the S&W site, I use it more for a tool to see what is out there for the consumer
