That flat screwdriver started in approx. 1988
Appears that it would be for a target sight gun, 5" barrel or less - 38 special or 357 magnum gun

I would suggest that if you have no use for it, you might offer it up for sale here or on "thEBay". You'd be amazed at what collectors will pay for a S&W tool kit still in a sealed bag.
