What does your state call your carry "permit"?

Arizona: Concealed Weapons Permit
Nevada: Concealed Firearms Permit

I got the Nevada permit because there was a time when NV refused to recognize the AZ permit and I travel to Laughlin and Las Vegas often. Now NV has reciprocity with AZ once again, but it was worth going through the NV class because there are many differences between the two States. Even though a permit is now not required in AZ to carry, having a permit makes buying guns much easier, and travel throughout most of the middle States is now legal carrying a weapon. The NV permit has a photo, the AZ permit does not. Carrying a knife concealed with a blade longer than 3 inches is illegal in NV and can result in a felony charge.

Iowa Permit to Carry Weapons

This is the moniker that we have since we became a "Shall Issue" state in 2010 after the NRA sent an operative in to get the law passed. Whoever the NRA guy was he was brilliant. He promised the buffoon we had for governor an A rating if he signed the carry bill. The governor signed it and still lost the election!!

Illinois - Conceal Carry License
Arizona - Concealed Carry Permit
Utah - Concealed Firearm Permit
Florida - Concealed Weapon License

Each state it is called something different

Florida - CWFL

In Missouri, it's a Concealed Carry Permit, the possession of which exempts one from several statute subsections:

4. Subdivisions (1), (8), and (10) of subsection 1 of this section shall not apply to any person who has a valid concealed carry permit issued pursuant to sections 571.101 to 571.121, a valid concealed carry endorsement issued before August 28, 2013, or a valid permit or endorsement to carry concealed firearms issued by another state or political subdivision of another state.

(1) Carries concealed upon or about his or her person a knife, a firearm, a blackjack or any other weapon readily capable of lethal use; or

(8) Carries a firearm or any other weapon readily capable of lethal use into any church or place where people have assembled for worship, or into any election precinct on any election day, or into any building owned or occupied by any agency of the federal government, state government, or political subdivision thereof; or

(10) Carries a firearm, whether loaded or unloaded, or any other weapon readily capable of lethal use into any school, onto any school bus, or onto the premises of any function or activity sponsored or sanctioned by school officials or the district school board; or

In NY, my permit says "License to Carry Pistol is Hereby Granted"(commonly called "Pistol Permit"). All handguns must be registered here and there are also permits that allow ownership, but not concealed carry.
So we have varying degrees of infringement.

In Kansas it's a CCH = Concealed Carry Handgun which eliminates other weapons.
However Kansas has passed Constitutional Carry since implementing the CCH law.

Here in Idaho right now it is called a concealed weapons license; as of
July 1, 2016 in Idaho you won't need a license to carry concealed.

However, having a concealed weapons license makes it a lot easier and
faster to buy a gun here in Idaho.

Arizona is a constitutional carry the state and also has a "Concealed Weapons Permit". which is good to have if you travel

In Virginia, one doesn't need a permit/license to openly carry (the Constitution preserves that liberty), so one is issued a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) if we don't want to advertise the fact.
