I have a wide variety of handguns. Old, new, semi-auto, single action revolver, double action revolver, cowboy, military, civilian....you get the idea. I prefer older guns. When I am shooting older Colts like the Police Positive and others, I find the grips odd to uncomfortable. I generally like S&W's of the same age to be much more to my liking. What brands do you find most comfortable?

My first Ruger Security Six, a 4" low back, has got to be the best feeling gun in my hands. Just perfect balance, weight, & fit. I recently picked up a 4" Service six, high back, that feels about the same.

1911s for me, have " many" and bought this one about a month ago. Stoned insides ,disconnector and hammer notches. Replaced the garbage factory sear and grip safety and pretty happy with it. Shot at 15 yards as that what the range is. When its not close to 100 will go to county outdoor range and shoot at 25,50 and 100 yards.
