Yeah, me too.
I regret selling the S&W 642 snubby, with the laser.
And the Springfield XD-9 Service.

my 4" colt python, box, papers, etc., my 80 series Colt (Caspian full pimped out) officers... oh yeah, one of my 12-3 airweights. kept one, should have kept the other. times were tough and a guy in Boise Idaho gave me (at the time) fair prices on all. if you are him, and you remember the deal, i'll double it to get them back! almost forgot my Colt agent.... i kind of had a thing for Colt if you hadn't guessed by now...

regret

Sold my 4006 before I knew what a squib load was.:o Sent it back to S&W for repair, once it was "fixed" by them I sold it. After researching came to realize my first time reloading skills were at fault not the fine 4006.

A 6" blued Python with an "E" serial number prefix which included box and paperwork. I was beautiful and later, stolen from the new owner by a close relative & sold.

:(:(

Bruce

My M1 .30 carbine
M1A .308 w/ scope and 7 mags
SKS
Model 36 w/ 3" bull barrell

Ugh. Unexpected tough times forced me to sell many of my guns in a couple of weeks, meaning I didn't always get what I wanted out of them. It still hurts to think about. The two I miss most are:

Colt SAA in .44 special with a 7 inch barrel
Browning Hi-Power in the T - series, with pouch, paperwork, ect

My pre Series 70 National Match 1911 LNIB. I have one left that is Minty, but sold the other one to buy three S&W's, still wish I had it though....

Handguns, 629 5" classic unfluted cylinder, CEN ser# 640,
3" M-10 TC Polis, Colt mustang Pocketlite .380 SS & Bright Nickle.

Rifles, Sauer 202 Deluxe cal 6.5X55 & a Magnum Research Mountain Eagle cal .270 These rifles help with funding the most gorgous wood floor upgrades (Oak)in our home. The Mrs was tickled when she was surprised with the wood flaws took her
almost a decade to find out, A buddy throw me under the bus over beers afew months ago. Ya have to do what ya have to do for family only thing I regret to day is that I did not get todays pricing on those rifles

I know we have all come to points of our lives were for what ever reason, we had to sell a gun or two. You still may be looking to replaced it. So what is missing in your collection?
My two are:

S&W md. 58 blue
S&W md. 547 9mm

Once I had a German 98 Mauser that had been rebuilt by Israel in 7.62mm NATO. It would routinely put 10 shots into less than 2.0 inches at 100 yds. Lost my job and ended up selling it... a Hi Standard Champion and a Colt 1911 Ser. 80. Had bills to pay... children and wife depending upon me. Sold a gorgeous 1921 dated all original Springfield 1903 for what was then a good price and a very nice Kar-98. Regret? Some. But guns can be replaced. The money helped us till I could find a job. It also taught my wife and I an important lesson... that we didn't ever again need to allow ourselves to be dependent on a single income. Happily my daughters never knew anything was wrong. Would I do it again? Absolutely.

Mainly this one: a 27-2 4" nickel. Maybe if I'd changed the goodyears to one of Kurac's grips I'd still own it. I didn't realize that particular configuration was so hard to find.

This could get depressing...

Numerous Remington Rand 1911A1's
Model 28 4"
Model 19 6"
Model 59
Colt Diamondback .38 4"
Colt Diamondback .22 6"
Model 63
Dan Wesson 44VH
sure I've forgotten a few...

An 8 3/8" model 29 (no dash) was the only S&W, just because I didn't know they were so uncommon with that bbl... I think I've heard less than 500 made?

But others include: 6" Bright SS Python, 1878 Colt 12ga sxs, a Winchester 1873 38/40, 1902 Colt Bisley in 38-40, and Dan Wessons in 32mag & 41mag, and a Browning Hi-power.

Colt National Match 1911A1 made in 1940
Winchester Model 12 Riot gun with US markings
Colt 1911A1 Military made in 1943
Pristine 42 marked Luger with 1940 date
3 P-38s
and many more, some cash was used to get our family through tight times some to finance new gun purchases

My Dad's Model 29 no dash nickle 4 inch..
Sold at the request of my Mother.:(

Model 49 no dash nickle
Model 10-2 HB nickle

Worst of all
Model 10-4 3 inch RB nickle...dumb dumb dumb.
