What handgun is your "Go-To" gun?

Most often.

Model 10. All the time.

My to go gun has been my 3913, a wonderful 3rd gen auto by our friends as S&W. But now the fly in the ointment. I just purchased a used model 36 that is growing on me by the day. It fits very nicely in a pocket holster and it is very accurate. There may be an addition to my "Favorite" go to gun status. Oh, why not just carry both. I'd hate to have jealousy in the gun cabinet.

For a quick trip to the store the 340sc .357 is hard to beat and hits hard to boot. Nice pocket pistol. If it's cooler weather and covering garments are the rule of the day a Combat Commander, Sig P220, Sig P245, or Lightweight Officers ACP work just fine. If a "spray and pray" gun is required the Beretta M9 with 9BPLE 115gr +P+ loads would be my best choice. You never know when you might be approached by a bunch of gang bangers in the city when taking your wife out on the town for dinner and a show. just sayin';)

Mostly a Model 37 in a pocket holster. It's one of the more recent ones with no lock and is DAO. Sometimes a 36 with bobbed hammer.

Woods carry a M-28 4 inch, M-629 in 3 inch or Taurus snub in 41 mag.

Deer hunting either a M-657 in 8 3/8 or Ruger SBH.

Walther PPS 9mm most of the time. When I wear shorts it goes in the front pocket in a modified DeSantis Nemesis.
In the Winter I've been known to carry a S&W 1086 in my heavy coat.
I picked up a 9mm Walther PPQ this summer, I'm thinkin' I'll get a Theis holster for it and maybe for the 1086.

Glock 30 & Corbon 200 +P.
If I leave the house I have my wallet & Glock.

442 no lock all the time. .40 hi power and 3" 629 when I'm travelling, though I recently got a good deal on a Sig P250 in .45 that may replace the Browning....

When and if I get a carry permit, I would expect to put my 649 in my pocket for journeys out of the house, or maybe an old postwar .38 M&P with a two-inch barrel. If I get to the point of really trusting a semiauto, there's a .380 PPK/S that might get some port time.

Around the house the guns available for quick access tend to be a little heavier -- a Brazilian, a "Blood Work" 627, a 696.
