What height scope rings?

I need to grab some 1 inch scope rings for my Leupold scope. What height is comfortable for AR platform? I'm not going quick detach or anything just some decent matte aluminum rings.

I picked up a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-5x20 and now I'm having trouble finding a mount to clear my rear MBUS. I really hope I don't have to spend Larue money.

You might consider a 1/2'' or 3/4'' riser, then using low or medium height rings (or whatever works for you). Personally, I think a riser with lower rings looks better than a scope sitting up on stilts

i did high mounts with mine and the scope just clears my mag-pul buis. the picture makes it look like they touch but its the angle of the pic, theres about 3/32" clearance between them.

What mounts are you using and what size is the eyepiece?
