What holster do you hve for your shield?

My newest holster is a Black Hawk Check-Six BLACKHAWK! Check-Six Leather Concealment Holster - BLACKHAWK! Here's me a small man at 140-145 lbs and 5'6" wearing said holster in the small of my back

You will notice that I have access to my billfold or any pocket with this odd cant, but the draw comes out with a full combat ready grip and easily reholsters and can be used as an open carry if you like which I do sometimes when at the range you might want to try one out, I paid $53 at my LGS for it, it is Italian leather and has retention adjustment screws (a small Allen wrench) to adjust it.

The one I got was for the Glock 17,19, 22,23 but a sub compact 26 will work like the 26 as well as the Shield!

The holster I found was from a guy in S/E MI Foxx holsters, a crossbreed type hybred I'm real happy with the quality & at just over $41 shipped the price was right,

I use one of my old PPS holsters from don hume. Fits like a glove!

do you feel the 4 Art would be better for pocket carry or the 6 ART. Thanks

If you get the 4art, order with the laser option as it supposedly fits the larger trigger guard of the Shield better. Pics of mine in a 4art here:

I pocket carry have a Galco PH286 horsehide pocket holster designed for a Glock 26. Thin and light. Also a Desantis Nemisis #4. Both make the gun disappear in Cargo shorts. Galco is better in loose fit jeans . Destantis is better for pleated dress pants.

IWB Super tuck type holster kit from Old Faithful in horsehide.

Don't have a Shield yet, but I WILL get one when I can.

I went ahead and ordered the Stage 3 from Old Faithful when they had the Memorial Day special.

Ordered and just received a Tommy Theis holster for my Shield. Fitment is perfect and the holster feels great! So far I'm happy with my choice...

I ordered a Crossbreed supertuck for my shield about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks for delivery, it arrived yesterday! Fit is really good and comfortable.

That's good news....I ordered a super-tuck for the Shield also....hopefully I'll see it soon.

Right now, I am using a DeSantis Apache ankle holster for a Glock 26 or when I want to carry IWB, a DeSantis Dual Carry also for the 26.

I have a Nemsis for my BodyGuard, but the Shield is too big to fit.

Desantis Nemesis pocket holster and just got the Desantis Soft-Tuck. I like both of them alot. The soft-tuck rides a little high but not bad at all. Very comfortable.

What kinda holster do you have for your shield. I have the desantis leather IWB holster. I like it alot but wanted to see other optiona.

How does this holster ride? Meaning very low in the waistband or higher? I have the soft tuck and it rides a little higher than I'm used to. This looks like it would ride lower in the waistband for deeper concealment.

Pro-Tech holsters customer service checked with S&W and said a size 3 side carry holster should fit the Shield. For $17.95 at "Big Daddy's" at E-Bay I thought I would take a chance. Will post when the item arrived and checked out.
