We all should be giving thanks that Donald Trump survived....regardless of your political leanings.

Think about it, with the very great divide in our nation (if he had been killed) this is the very type of thing that could have sparked an outrage with the potential to escalate into open violence across the country.

I pray that cooler minds will prevail and our country will unite. God Bless.

I don't disagree, "but" the history of violence is not unique to America. I'm a history buff and violence is endemic to all humans throughout the ages......in fact it's a common theme throughout nature. All living creatures exhibit violence .... fight for food, breeding rights, living territory etc.
