Looks to me a jamb spreader. Would be useful several ways for dealing with metal frame doors in poured concrete buildings.

My assumption in most Israeli/Palestinian doors open inwards from corridors, like in the U.S. Scandinavian exterior doors often outwards. Different tools and tactics apply.

My last breaching training was 15 years ago. Maybe serious breachers will correct me.

I'll go with jamb spreader! I've never seen one before and the scene was filled with armed Soldiers and I had no clue what that thing was. Like I said, someone here will know. And in the context - it IS a weapon!!!
