A few months ago I purchased a S&W 331 TI that was NIB, and pre-lock, for my daughter. With shipping and FFL fees I spent just short of $600.00.

You did not mention with or with out lock? That will also determine price. I have one and enjoy shooting it. I paid $500 for one with the lock.
