Just to basic edit some really short videos from I Phone. Pretty much just cut the junk out more so than on the phone.
Wind 7 Pro not Win 10. Short clips to be used as video evidence. No special effects

Basic, Free, easy, Not making an Epic movie.:D

Thanks

Use Movie Marker that is included with Windows. Tons of how-to on youtube. You can make pretty good stuff with music, titles etc.

Movie Maker is no longer supported and not for Win 7. I guess there are 3rd party sites where it can be found??

Mine is listed as Windows Live Movie Maker. Should be listed under All Programs

I was thinking Movie Maker was still part of W7, but was dropped from later versions. For a free program, it was pretty good. There are lots of free editors, but check them out carefully. They are often loaded with spyware and adware.

I don't know exactly what you want to do, but you might try Real Player free version. It can change file formats and also do cuts and joins and other things I haven't tried. It's a little challenging at first but not too tough to figure out. It will also burn playable DVDs, but I use something else for that (WinX DVD Author). Also free and works well for me. Another useful feature that Microsoft dropped after W7.

N0pe, no have on Win 7 pro

I have Movie Maker on my Win 10 desktop PC, and on my Win 7 Pro laptop.

The only drawback on Win 10 is the "burn to CD" option is gone.
