That'd be a fair guess. Presumably other inserts were available for longer barrels. That one appears to be about 2 1/2".

The piece on the right end looks to be hardened. Possibly a home made tool to true up a short barrel forcing cone.

Looks like a mandrel for making bushings.

Looks like some carburetor adjusting tool from days gone by. The ones I have have a flexible shaft.
