What else is like a 3" round butt Model 13 or Model 65?

What are the favorite years or dash models for the above?

Both the Model 10 and Model 64 were made in 3 inch barrel with round butt. These look exactly like the Model 13 and 65 but are in 38 Special rather than 357.

Hope this helps.

M10's and M64's seem to be quite a lot more scarce than M13's and M65's in the 3" bbl; at least within my realm of experience. I think that SmithNut pretty much cornered the market on 3" M10's a few years ago, and he doesn't seem to be letting any of them go. I don't recall ever even seeing a 3" M64; perhaps some kind soul will post a photo of that illusive model? -S2

I "won" a 3" m64 on GB a couple of weeks ago...there was a ring in the barrel, so I sent it back. - JM.

In the S & W lineup, any 2.5 to 3" K frame will handle similarly. The 3" has the full-length ejector rod.

As a rule, the -2 pinned barrel models seem to command higher prices (I don't think I have seen a plain or -1 3" of either gun). The -3 and higher changes are functionally all the same. Hope this is helpful.

The middle gun on the right is a Model 64-3. It is below a Model 547 and above a bobbed Model 66-3.
