Fine gun, but 3.5" is not a snub. 4" is a great length, and 3.5" is, too, but folks argue over whether 3" in an N frame is a snubby. 3.5"? ***eddaboutit.
Donnie,
Not model 27s....But close to 3 1/2"ers none the less.......
I didn't take time to wipe the shiny one off, jest pulled er outta my holster for this pic.

Su Amigo,

I can definitely see the appeal, but I just don't get it.Why/how did the 3 1/2" come to be? I know it's probably been covered here before, but please tell me. I don't own a 27, yet, but when the time comes it'd have to be the shorty. How cool would a round butt have been. What time frame in the evolution of the Model 27 did the 3 1/2" come along. Was it an original optional length or did it come along later? Does it really conceal that much better than a 4"? I've been curious about this for a while.
Dave Keith made this one. It rides high on my left, the butts in the same place as a vertical shoulder rig, presents real easy.Jim what holster do you use?
Now you're just showing off!
Look at them fellas' packin' those shortened N targets... old school & cool, I say.
