What is this?

I found this at my Mom's house after she passed and my sisters and I were sorting stuff. It looks bent but it is made that way. Even though the blade is pitted, it is very sharp. I just don't have a clue as to what it is. All opinions are appreciated, even the ones that think I'm talking about the scale or the nickle, which I ain't.

I agree with Dick Burg. I believe that is a cuticle tool.
At one time a fancy manicure set was part of every ladies make-up kit. I know my Mother had a set.

If the curve is a feature of the knife and not something that happened during its lifetime, I would guess a grapefruit knife. However, the manicure set picture makes me pretty much go with that guess, too.

I'd go with the manicure thingy..

..but my first thought was that it was a fruit carving knife. But that would look more like a utility knife than part of a set.

But the OP mentions that the blade is very sharp. I don't know of any knifelike manicure tools.
