What is this?

I found this at my Mom's house after she passed and my sisters and I were sorting stuff. It looks bent but it is made that way. Even though the blade is pitted, it is very sharp. I just don't have a clue as to what it is. All opinions are appreciated, even the ones that think I'm talking about the scale or the nickle, which I ain't. :rolleyes:

Looks like the remains of a fancy Knife from a Silver Ware Set.
 
Looks like a vintage cuticle tool. Probably from a set.

My first guess was going to be a nut pick, for digging the meat out of walnuts. But after seeing the other responses, I'm inclined to agree with manicure tool.
 
I'd go with the manicure thingy..

..but my first thought was that it was a fruit carving knife. But that would look more like a utility knife than part of a set.

But the OP mentions that the blade is very sharp. I don't know of any knifelike manicure tools.
