That is not a photograph, it is AI generated! The artist simply knows nothing about the mechanism of a S&W revolver! Flutes, too many ratchet lugs, lugs wrong shape, cartridge loaded in front of cylinder, ratchet on front of cylinder, no extractor. Why would the cylinder be pictured without the rest of the gun!Anything else? Artistic license be damned, plain stupidity!

They based the 37 magnum off that cartridge. They were chsmbered in a 17 shot revolvers used exclusively for movies. Threaded barrel of course for a supressor that sounded like a dart gun.
 
Years ago I called on a guy of Polish descent who had one like this on his desk, it was a comical commentary on the Polish people according to him.
 
Rather rare smithinsky and wessonvitch. This particular gun was only
