What is your favorite Smith pocket revolver

Usually one of these...

Sweet 638 with a nice trigger job, or my Kahr CM9 with my Smith ridding backup.

All of you guys need bigger pockets. Try 29-2, 4". Makes for a great cardio workout!!

Bigger pockets, a heavy-duty belt, and suspenders to keep you from inadvertently dropping trou. I hate it when that happens!!

I like the ORIGINAL bodyguards, old school model 38 or 49 with hip grip for carrying concealed iwb.

My favorite is a 342 TI with Hogues that cover the back strap and a PERFECT smooth action job,the best I have ever seen and never a miss fire.Stoked with 158 gr Ny-Clads. Also a XS Big Dot and carried everyday in a Kramer Black Horsehide Belt scabbard. My EDC CCW gun.Perfect--

By the way-- my EDC is all beat up- some of those pictures look like ads for new stuff.Just my honest viewing---!!!

This thread is full of great ideas about which S&W to carry. I never considered the 340PD before, but will be going to Buds soon to check them out.

pre-lock no-dash 342 or no-lock 642-1, hogue bantams, mika, federal gm38a or winchester x38smpr 148 gr gm38a wadcutters.

I bought a new no-lock 340PD 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Probably the greatest all-around carry gun for pocket use I've ever owned.

14 oz. loaded, exactly the same as my Seecamp!

HERE is my 340PD and 642

I do not know which I like better. I had it with small semi autos . I carry either one . However if I have to go in a bad area I take my XEm 3.8 . Your best weapon your brain

Pretty nice old model 37. The Uncle Mike's stocks are not much to look at, but really do give and excellent two finger grip.

Bumps in the night

642-2 is my EDC. Loaded with Federal Personal Defense, 129gr Hydro Shok ammo I think it'd work as well as anything else for a deadly encounter. I would like to get something with more rounds for Home Defense though. When it's just you in your underware with a gun and a flashlight it's kind of comforting to have more then 5 rounds for those "bump in the night" situations.
Got a line on a S&W 4586 that's in my price range, that'd give me 8+1 rounds of 45acp, may go with that or the Sig Pro 2340 that I've found.

The snub in a shoulder holster and a 12 gauge work well for me.
It takes little time to put on the shoulder holster. The coach gun has 5 rounds on the stock.
The dogs see well at night so sometimes the flash light is better left off.
