I found this the other day, of all places in the back of my truck, apparently before that it resided in the cab. I can't make out all the lettering on it, I see part of it says Greene Tweed Co. New York but that's about it. Never seen a hammer quite like this one.

I have one just like it, and so does one of my friends. Our hammers have lead inserts, and we use it to remove the knock-offs on sports car wheels.

You can new inserts at MSC.com mcmaster-Carr.com or if you have a tool supply in your town.

I found one of those in the back of an old Jaguar XKE (junker) I once had. And that car also had wire knock-off's. My hammer seems to have had wording from good ole England on it. I always thought that it was to hit the spinner to take the wheels off.
