What optic should I get for under $100

What are you looking to do? The first one is more of a precision piece. Meaning, slower acquisition of the target but more precise. The second offers faster acquisition while sacrificing some precision, especially at longer ranges.

The trs-25 is awesome for the price. Wish it had an auto shutoff. Id pay more for that feature.

Found the TRS25 for about $62 delivered and was about to buy but others mentioned the Primary Arms micro dot. I need to do more reading to decide.

I have a TRS25 on my 15-22 pistol and another on my Buckmark and love them. The Millett DMS on my 15-22 rifle is a great scope, too. The 1-4 is going to be heavier but more versatile. You know how you are going to be shooting. Get the one that is most appropriate for your purposes.

Get a carry handle with G.I.peeps they are fool proof . I out shot all the scopes, eotechs and red dots in a 32 hour 4 day swat class with teams from all over the state. No tricks or gimmicks just good breathing ,trigger control and being a rifleman first. That is what combat rifleman are made of.

The UTG Bug Buster has been excellent for my M&15 15-22. I got it for $85 shipped and got it zeroed in in no time (and I had never zeroed a scope before). It looks, feels, and works like a higher quality scope IMO.

Buddy is thinking of a Primary Arms micro red dot blem on eBay.

“Cosmetic Blemish run. Small specks may be in the glass near the edge if you look for them or the glass might be slightly overtinted (blue tint). There may also be spots on the finish that are not the same shade of matte black. Scope is still guaranteed to perform 100% and full 1 year warranty applies for any functional issues with the scope. Please note the photos in this auction are only representative of the blemished found and may not necessarily reflect the exact item you receive.”

Anyone have a PA blem?

I had a first-run optic from them two years ago. It had the overtinted issue and man was it terrible. The lense glared with color really bad in any light and made shooting with it downright distracting. I'd skip it if that's the issue.

PA was great to deal with and took it back without hesitation. They are a great company with great quality stuff. I just wouldn't personally take my chances with an optic that THEY decided was in bad enough condition to not sell unless deeply discounted. Your optic is arguably one of the most interactive, noticeable, and functional pieces on your weapon. It will drive you crazy.

They are way less than foolproof on a .22.

No experience with it but at that price you can take a chance.
