I don't have any S&W AR types, but I do have 4.
1. An older Colt HBAR Match Target with the 1:7 barrel I used as my Service Rifle in NRA competitions with forearm and stock weights, plus NM iron sights and a JP Enterprises trigger.
2. My Long-Range AR: a Bushmaster lower with a Chip McCormick trigger, a Weaver T10, with a White Oak Armament match upper with a Wilson 26" 1:8 barrel with a Versa Pod bipod for F class matches.
3. What started life as a mouse gun space rifle for use as a NRA Match Rifle: a Bushmaster lower with a JP Enterprises trigger, a Rock River 24" barreled Varmint Upper with 1:8 twist, a Mid Tompkins front sight and a Lyman 48 micrometer rear.
4. My home assembled M4 type CQB rifle: an Aero Precision lower with stock trigger, a PSA upper, an unbranded 18" heavy barrel with spiral flutes and 1:8 twist, a set of unbranded detachable BUIS, and a BSA reflex optic.
I am contemplating putting together a couple of match specific uppers, one with a 26" barrel chambered in 22 Nosler, and a M4 Match upper with an unnamed scope for NRA AR Tactical Platform matches.
I am not obsessed with the AR platform, it is just that due to my injuries, I have a great degree of difficulty shooting my M1A, M1MkII and 03A3 NM in competition, and I can manipulate the AR much more easily.
