I’m in California and I bought a Shield Plus that’s MA Compliant with the 10 lb trigger pull. What parts do I need to change out to bring it down to the stock trigger pull of 5 lbs?

Take out all the red springs, Trigger return,Striker and sear. Replace with yellow sear spring, bronze trigger return spring and free state striker spring. It will reduce it to about 6-61/2 lb. If you want to spend the money also replace the sear with an Apex. They sell the sear without the springs or just buy the duty/carry Apex kit.

Search here for the 25 cent trigger job. M&P harder to pull apart than a Glock but polishing up the trigger bar, sear, firing pin release pin and finally the firing pin will reduce weight without changing springs. A quick youtube search showed a 10 pound trigger going down to 2.5 with polishing. I polished the top of the trigger bar and firing pin release pin with out breaking down the slide/frame and made the trigger feel smoother (sorry don't have measuring device). I also plan to remove the magazine safety just on principle.

where could i find these replacement springs?

where could i find these replacement springs? i cant seem to find anything for the shield plus aside from a full apex trigger assembly. thanks

Midwestgunworks has two different sear and 2 different trigger return springs.

NP3 striker block from Overwatch, if it’s compatible.

Thanks. I try as they are not that expensive and I’m desperate because this trigger is horrible although it seems nothing from the 1.0 or 2.0 are compatible with the plus trigger.
