First, It is possible that my age had something to do with my problems.
When I left the hospital Friday I felt very weak. Saturday as I was trying to clean up I felt like I was on the verge of passing out so I grabbed the walker and headed for the bed. I woke up between the bed and chest of drawers. I left the bathroom so fast that I didn't get my phone.There was no way that I could wiggle my way to the bedroom phone and raise up enough to reach it. I knew that my daughter would be by sometime in the afternoon and I was able to pull a blanket from the bed and just got as comfortable as possible.
My daughter got there in a couple a couple of hours and away I went to another hospital. No broken bones or reason for weakness. Came back home and my grandson spent the rest of the day and Saturday night and went home Sunday afternoon. He has always been good to me but when he said it is payback time for all of the things that you did for me, it erased the doubts I had if he really appreciated what I did.
My back muscles and ribs are very sore bui I can handle that. My daughter had both carotids done and has the nicest straight faint line on both sides. I ended up with an L shape that combined with my double chin will never look good. That's the way it goes. I have never had a beard but I have a good start. Will have to think about that. Glad to be back with you good people.
One other thing, the swelling from the surgery went into my gums and is playing havoc with my store bought teeth.
