I want to order a holster for my M&P9 but don't know much about it. Can anyone tell me more so I don't order a holster that I won't be able to use. Looking to get an IWB holster. Thanks!

You have an M&P 1.0, likely the VTAC. Looks like an APEX trigger and a "custom" stipple job. Not sure what brand laser sight you have. If you plan to keep the laser, you should verify what brand it is before ordering a holster.

I agree, you have a VTAC M&P. I believe these were modified to Viking Tactical specs.
If wrong someone will correct me.

So it looks like i will possibly have to go with this holster. Blade-Tech Total Eclipse 2.0™ with Mod-Lok™ not seeing much else for the m&p 1.0

Ditch the laser and you will have a lot more options. That, or find a holster you like and see which lasers they support. Either way, looks like you can shop for any M&P 9/40 Full Sized holster. It won't matter if the maker specifies M&P9/40 or M&P 2.0. The exterior dimensions are the same.

Actually no they are NOT in one critical area. The slide stop is substantianlly larger on the 2.0 and will grind or possibly not allow a 2.0 gun to fit into a 1.0 holster.

M&P 4.25 gen 1 but 2.0 holster fits too so it does not matter as far as the holster goes but try to buy a Hybrid holster for better comfort and easier re holstering . Guess you going to carry with the what ever laser that is so good luck with that . If you remove the laser .

Check out Comp-Tac MTAC or there Infidel ultra max hybrid holsters . The MTAC is very adjustable for carry height and cant. It also wears well over long work days . I have 15 years with the mtac and a couple more with the infidel ultra max with 1911 commander an m&p full size included
