This afternoon when I went over to the Moon Bar to watch the Vikings, a knife like this one was lying, open, on the bar. I laughed. The rest of my response is contained in the thread title.
Just then, my boy came in, "Well, Pop, since you have seen it, I might as well give you your birthday present early."
He drew a box out of his pocket that contained an identical knife. "It was an impulse buy on Amazon; then I remembered your birthday, so I ordered two."
It is not my first titanium framelock flipper, and it is not my first sheepsfoot single blade. It is not the type of knife I ordinarily buy, but of course I will treasure it, as I will treasure the laughs we will share over it.
