I read a news report that said the people Michigan are sitting on over $50 billion in bottle and can returns.

That's $50 Million, with an "M". Works out to $5 for every resident of the State. A lot of people obviously don't drink carbonated beverages here, because the wife and I have accumulated WAY more than our share!

When will bottle returns open again? Michiganders keep waiting

Your only suspect statement is that you "claim" to have a bottle or three AFTER checking the forum. What is wrong with you? It is WAY more fun to imbibe while checking the forum. This may lead, unfortunately, to some unintended consequences, such as out of budget expenditures, thinly disguised political rants, picking on your fellow SW fans, picking on uninformed newbies, and undeserved timeouts What fun!
